Hi all again. Ive posted in here recently about being rearended by some woman a couple weeks ago.
Now all of a sudden, i started my truck and for the first time ever since ive had it, it immediately started this high pitched squealing sound! As I turned the steering wheel to make a turn it seemed to affect the pitch of the squeel a little bit. Then after about 10 seconds the squeal stopped, but then squeeled again 2 or 3 minutes later for @ 10 seconds, when driving.
I so dont need more problems especially financial ones right now!
Any ideas what might be causing this, and if it could possibly be related to being rearended (not major, just a small dent in rear bumper and mild to moderate softtissue injuries)?

Sounds like your AC belt needs to be replaced. If you're going to do that, replace them all, unless you've got a serpentine system, then there's only one long one.
The sudden starting again while driving sounds like the AC pump clutch engaging. It's usually just caused by an old belt. Easy and cheap fix.
Could be the PS pump too, but sounds like the AC.
